This policy is valid from 1 January 2014.
The reading of all information on Four Cats In The Kitchen™ is of your own free will. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should cease use of this website immediately. I reserve the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions at any given time on this website.
Even though I (Sarah Edens) work hard to provide you with up-to-date information, I make no representations or warranties of any kind (expressed or implied) about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of any information, products, services or related graphics contained on Four Cats In The Kitchen™ for any purpose. The same is true of any information shared through my associated social media accounts.
I aim to provide you with accurate information at the time of publishing, but some information will understandably become less accurate as time passes.
Unless otherwise noted, I (Sarah Edens) am the legal copyright holders of all (written, multimedia and graphic) material on this website and it may not be used, reprinted, (partially) modified or published without my written consent. A link to fourcatsinthekitchen.com must appear in all copies of any artwork or content, including articles and press releases.
Recipes themselves (i.e., the ingredients list) are not subject to copyright. [n.b. One company that took notable exception to this concept was the magazine Cook's Country over an adaptation of their 2008 potato salad recipe by a food blogger.] However, my cooking directions, notes, and photography associated with the recipes ARE. Please write up your own directions, and take your own photographs, should you choose to adapt one of the recipes listed on Four Cats In The Kitchen™ for your own use on your site or book. It is always considered appropriate (among food bloggers) for an attribution to be as made, such as: "this recipe was adapted from fourcatsinthekitchen.com."
The opinions expressed by any Third Parties are their own and do not represent the position or beliefs of Four Cats In The Kitchen™. I am not responsible for any vulgar, hateful, or otherwise offensive comments made by others on my website or social media accounts, although should any appear they will be promptly removed in the interest of a harmonious, safe, and bully-free online environment.
Retweets, "likes," pins, and any other content sharing on my social media accounts, email newsletters, and/or website do not constitute an endorsement. The mention of any products, social media accounts and/or websites of others does not constitute an endorsement.
All the information provided on Four Cats In The Kitchen™ is for general information and educational purposes only, and is the expressed opinion of myself (Sarah Edens) and not that of others. This includes (but is not limited to) my family members, membership organizations, employers, corporate sponsors, and/or advertisers.

I am not providing any medical, nutritional, fitness, legal, or any other professional advice. Please enjoy trying out the recipes and projects described on my website, but be advised that you do so at your own risk.
Under no circumstances will I be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss or damage) or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. Nor will I be liable for any illness of any kind in relation to the preparation and consumption of any and all of my recipes.
I cannot be held responsible for any offense taken due to translation, interpretation or mistakes in grammar and/or punctuation of my website’s content, nor that of any content I publish on my social media accounts or email newsletters.
I cannot be held responsible for the illegal theft of readers' personal information due to any unauthorized access or hacking of my website and/or social media accounts/MailChimp account.
Access to the site and all associated social media accounts may be temporarily or permanently suspended without notice at my own discretion, due to possible updates or technical issues beyond our control. I will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time, or for any period of time.
Any personal and/or contact information provided to me will be kept private. I will not sell or disclose your information to any other companies. I will not be held responsible, however, for any damages due to privacy breaches by hackers or other unauthorized parties.
I am not responsible for the privacy practices of any of my advertisers or blog commenters.
